The holidays are sailing to an end, it is time to plunge in 2012!
What would be better than the assignation of an award to mark the beginning of the year?
Tomorrow, Sunday 8th, the XXXI Winter Championship organized by the sailing club Fiumicino in Rome, will restart from where it had left in 2011, with the fifth day of racing. Also, the awarding of the Winter Champion – Deutsche Bank Trophy will take place, in addition to the awards of the day. The Trophy is new to this edition and provides for the allocation of the title of Winter Champion to boats which have won first place in the overall rankings of the various groups.
The winners of the title of Winter Champion are:

- Regatta IRC: Blu Tango Blu – Roberto Rosa, Sergio Luciani
- Crociera veloce: Milù – Andrea Pietrolucci
- Crociera: Utopia – Fabrizio Proietti
- Minialtura: Estetica 3 – Mad Fish – Stefano Punzo
- Vele Bianche: Skorpion – Enrico Costanzo
